So what I would want to know is if there’s anyone who’s come across a plug-in – or perhaps even a tutorial – on how to create more advanced, warped and distorted letterforms. We Use Macintosh Computers With All The Latest Programs: QuarkXpress 4.1 Photoshop 6.0 Pagemaker 6.5 Illustrator 9.0.
That’s the sort of »correct« distortion I’m talking about… without any »real« perspective.
Typestyler program software#
My prediction: Expect to see this piece of software on Windows sometime in. The NeoWayland Special Collections graphic doesnt change, So I actually put that together in TypeStyler and saved it as a PDF. See how the CONCERT, LECTURES, PLAYS… text there in the middle. Bundled with the typestyler and loop composer, FCP 4 is another step forward. It is taken from a program (TypeStyler 3) that can do some of the stuff I wanna do, but down the road, the result is somewhat not that great PLUS the application has a good 7 years on it’s back. Take a look at the image below for an example of one of the effects I would like to create. See, Illustrator has a tendency to skew and »lean« the letters, wich just is downright awful. I know of a similar product for the Macintosh called Typestyler (), but most of the programs Ive looked at for the PC are so graphics. BTW I posted here as I just did not see where this questuion could fit. please do not say photoshop as this is fine but way too difficult to compare to the super typestyler. What I want to do is to create some warped text, but beyond what’s possible with the Make with Warp feature. Is there any other programme that will do similar with the ease of typestyler. Really teriffic on some points, crap on others. Art Text alternatives are mainly Logo Makers but may also be Image Editors or Photo Editors. Other great apps like Art Text are Cool Text, Ashampoo Photo Optimizer, LunaPic and Text Maker +. Designers may remember the old TypeStyler as a font utility that. It's not free, so if you're looking for a free alternative, you could try Sumo Paint or Fotor. I’ve been playing around with the Envelope Distort functions in Illustrator the last couple of days.
